Finale of the Brookton Pony Express Series 🏁🤘

After almost 4 months off the bike due to injury, Declan was finally back! He teamed up with Adam Taylor and they rode their butts off, finishing 34th overall and 6th in the Clubman Class. Not a bad effort for someone coming straight off the couch! 😂👏

Lara also finished the series with another impressive effort, taking 21st in the Ironman Class. She is an absolute machine — putting in the hard work, pushing through the tough conditions and proving once again what she’s capable of. 💪🏍️

A huge thank you to Brookton Pony Express for another awesome Series. The tracks, the challenges and the atmosphere make this event one we always look forward to.

Lara loved this track today! 🤘 A great mix of technical sections and plenty of her favourite surface — sand! 🏖️🔥

She had a decent crash early on, but dusted herself off, got back into her rhythm and kept pushing to finish with a 2nd place podium at State Round 3! 🥈💪

Super proud of her for getting back up and fighting all the way to the finish!

Brookton Pony Express Round 2 🏍️💨

The weather gods certainly threw a bit of everything at the riders, but despite the challenging conditions, the track held up brilliantly.

Lara took on the demanding Ironman Class, putting in four hours of hard work on the bike to bring it home in 20th place. Another solid result, valuable experience, and plenty to build on for the next round.

Another solid day of racing for Lara at the Lake Preston Club Run.

She showed great speed throughout the day and proved she has the pace to challenge at the front. The obstacle course section was the deciding factor, ultimately costing her a podium finish, but every race is a learning opportunity.

We'll take the positives, continue working on the obstacle section, and come back stronger next time. It's all part of the journey, and it's exciting to see Lara's progress with every event.

The team's already looking ahead to the next round... well, one-third of the team is! 😂 Lara is absolutely hanging to get back on the bike, while Declan and Hayden have been benched with their injury memberships. 🤕🩼

Guess they'll be pit crew, chief supporters, and professional snack testers until they're back on two wheels! Wishing the boys a speedy recovery so the whole crew can hit the track together again. 💪🏍️

🚨 Hayden Update 🚨

Good news – Hayden is home! 🏡

He's currently rocking the latest hospital fashion accessories: a pair of crutches and some brand-new metalwork in his leg. 🔩
A bit sore, moving a little slower than normal, but doing really well.
The biggest casualty from the whole weekend .. it was his Knobby un**es. Apparently they didn't survive the trip to surgery and were cut off by the hospital staff. 🤣✂️🩲

Lara lined up for the Enduro race at the Bolgart Bash yesterday, excited to hit the track with plenty of sand on offer — her favourite!

After completing the sighting lap, racing got underway, but it wasn't long before things got interesting. On the first lap, Lara had a big crash, landing on top of her bike and taking a solid handlebar hit to the chest.

She had to pit earlier than planned so the pit crew (aka Dad) could straighten out a bent bike before heading back out. Dropping back to 5th place, Lara had plenty of work to do, and to make things even tougher, there wasn't much that could be done about a blown shock.

But in true Lara fashion, she dug deep, kept charging to the finish, and turned a tough day into a great result — fighting her way back to claim 3rd Overall in the EW Class! 🏆💪

Well... Albany State Championship definitely wasn't the result we had in mind! 😬🏍️

Hayden was riding well and looking fast until he decided he'd rather inspect the scenery and test out Albany's medical facilities.

After a quick stop with track first aid and a VIP transfer to Albany Hospital, he's now getting a shiny new rod installed in his femur. Not exactly the race upgrade we were hoping for! 🤦‍♂️😂

Safe to say this wasn't how he planned to spend race day, but at least Hayden is already adding some extra titanium horsepower for next season! 💪🤣

Thanks for all the messages and support. Time to focus on recovery and come back stronger. ❤️🏍️
