Only 8 golfers took advantage of the impeccably curated course on Sunday with a big weekend of footy / netball finals and windups. A FourBall Better Ball (Multiples) competition was decided on. 11 Players took part in our 18th Round Stableford Event on Sunday. With not everyone taking advantage of the great conditions, some however did with some great scores coming in and handicap adjustments to follow. This weekend saw our Club Championship Round Event. Due to conflicts with footy finals on Sunday our top 4 placed A Graders played their round on Friday. With the weather on repeat players enjoyed the sunshine, low wind and heavy course conditions follow the rainfall earlier in the week. The A Grade was taken out by C. Murnane by one shot to S. Minhard after both overtook our round starting leader B. Fitzgerald. In the B Grade R. May maintained a small starting lead to take out the win over C. Hall. The C Grade saw the round starting leader M. Chandler’s’‘lead eroded early with J. Hancock and C. Miller ending the round tied in 1st place. With a playoff required to determine the winner J. Hancock got the job done winning the 1st sudden death playoff hole to take out the C Grade title. Congratulations to our winners on their win and great season so far. A small group of 8 players took to the course for our 16th round Stableford Competition last Sunday, with 7 players travelling to Elliston Golf Club for their open. A reminder that this coming Sunday is our Club Championship Round so looking forward to plenty of players getting out there to enjoy some great weather 🤞🏻 and the course in great condition. 18 Players took to the course taking advantage of the excellent weather and course conditions, for our 15th Round and final Stroke competition. Some good scores coming in, the final tally’s for our club championship are now set with B. Fitzgerald 147 ahead of C. Murnane 150 and S. Minhard 153 in the A Grade. In the B Grade R. May & M. Crettenden equal on 169 with C. Hall close behind on 171. A. Fitzgerald on 181 leads M. Chandler on 189 and C. Miller 197 in the C Grade.
