At YYNFNC, looking out for each other matters. Our club has sadly been touched by su***de in the past, and it’s something that reminds us just how important it is to stay connected and check in — not just today, but all year round. 💛

We’re more than a football and netball club. We’re a community, a team and a family. Whether you’re on the field, on the sidelines, in the rooms or behind the scenes, you matter and you’re never alone.

So today, take a moment to ask someone:
“Are you OK?”

And if they say they’re not, take the time to listen. You don’t need to have all the answers — sometimes being there is enough.

❤️💛🖤 VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION ❤️💛🖤

This week's volunteer appreciation goes to two volunteers who quietly did so much to help make every home game possible - Frank Roosmalen and Joe Marsili.

While many of us were still enjoying a sleep-in, Frank and Joe were already at the club by 6:30am every home game, rolling up their sleeves to help get the canteen ready for a busy day. From preparing fresh salad rolls to cooking up egg and bacon on the barbecue, they helped ensure players, supporters and visitors were well fed from the moment the gates open.

Their contribution goes far beyond game day canteen duties. Frank is always willing to lend a hand wherever it's needed. He recently donated new chairs for our timekeepers' box, helped secure a new 75-inch TV for our social rooms, and when we had to relocate a game to Moe at short notice, he was at the club at 6:00am helping transport equipment to make sure everything ran smoothly.

The hours they give, the jobs they take on and the generosity they show often happen behind the scenes, but they make an enormous difference to everyone involved. Thank you both for your willingness to help wherever needed. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of our club community.

A massive congratulations to our friends at Moe Football Netball Club, with both their Senior Footballers and A Grade Netballers Grand Final bound! 🏆🔥

After 26 years between Senior Football Grand Final appearances, it’s a huge achievement for the Moe footballers and everyone who has played a part in getting them there.

And to have the A Grade netballers joining them on Grand Final day makes it an even more exciting time for the club! 👏

We love seeing great local clubs achieve success, and we’re proud to share such a strong connection with Moe FNC.
