2026 PREMIERS!!🏆

A massive congratulations to our Under 14s on getting over the line and bringing home the premiership!! 💙🤍🦘

We are incredibly proud of you all and the season you’ve had. What an amazing achievement and a well-deserved way to finish the year! 🏆

To our other sides who represented Yack on Grand Final Day, we are just as proud of the hard work, commitment and effort you’ve shown all season. Making it all the way to Grand Final Day is an achievement in itself and something to be very proud of.

A huge THANK YOU to every coach, team manager, committee member, volunteer, supporter, family member and everyone behind the scenes who continues to make YFNC the club it is. We simply couldn’t do it without you!

The 2026 season might only just be wrapped up… but we’re already busy behind the scenes gearing up for another massive year ahead! 👀

🔵⚪️ A HUGE THANK YOU! ⚪️🔵

YFNC would like to say a massive THANK YOU to all our members and supporters who put their hands up to help with our duties on Grand Final Day.

From working in the canteen, to umpiring, timekeeping, cleaning, and the normal game day roles — every person who gave up their time played a part in getting the job done.

These days simply don’t happen without volunteers, and once again our YFNC community stepped up when we needed them.

Whether you helped for an hour or spent a big part of your day lending a hand, we genuinely appreciate it.

Days like this are a great reminder that YFNC is much more than what happens on the football field or netball court. It’s a community of people who turn up, pitch in and look after their club and each other.

That’s what makes YFNC special — when there’s a job to be done, our community gets it done together.

RE-SIGNINGS & NEW SIGNINGS FOR 2027 & 2028 ARE COMING IN HOT!! 🔥
There’s nothing better than seeing players commit to YFNC for another two seasons!

Whether it’s your second year at the club or Yack has been home your whole life, re-signing is a huge compliment to our club. It shows the loyalty and commitment these boys have to YFNC and says so much about the environment and culture we’re so proud to have built!

And a big WELCOME HOME to Max McGregor! We’re absolutely stoked to have you back at Yack and can’t wait to see you pull on the blue and white again!
To Nick, Noz and Judah, thank you for continuing to back the club and committing for another two seasons. We’re lucky to have you and can’t wait to see what the next couple of years bring!

GRAND FINAL DAY IS NEARLY HERE!

Check out the schedule for the Grand Final this Saturday!

This weekend is shaping up to be a BIG one for our Under 14s and Under 17s footy boys, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Our Under 12s will also get their chance to run on the MCG of the Bush, giving them an amazing taste of the finals atmosphere and what it’s all about!

And our Under 11 netballers are just as excited to step into the spotlight and take to the court for a great game of fun, teamwork and finals fever!

Bring the noise, show your colours and get loud as we cheer them on!

We still have a few gaps, particularly around 12 - 1:30pm and 3 - 4:30pm (lollies, serving and gophers), and a few spots helping out the coffee crew.

RE-SIGNING FOR 2027 & 2028⚪🔵

MAX GEORGE

Max has decided to stick around for another 2 seasons!

We’re stoked to have Max at Yack. He’s a young, keen senior player who has shown plenty of dedication to his footy during his time at Yack so far. His development and commitment have been great to see, and we’re looking forward to seeing what the next two seasons bring!

Alongside his brother Casey, the George duo are a great part of our side and we’re thrilled to have them both pulling on the Yack jumper!

We’re not too sure Maccas is the ideal pre-game meal… but if Max keeps playing the way he does after having it, we might have to start encouraging it! 🤣

“Jordie Eaton, funniest bloke by far and he goes so hard at the ball.”

What’s your favourite thing about playing for YFNC?
“Everyone’s good mates and it makes coming to football real enjoyable.”

What’s your go-to dinner the night before a game?
“I don’t really have a go-to but I’ve had Maccas a couple times before games this year and played pretty good, so that could be my go-to from now on.”

💙🤍 Back on board in 2027! 💙🤍

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Haley O'Neill (A Grade), Ellie O'Neill (B Grade) and Keiran de Koeyer (C Grade), have all re-signed as senior netball coaches for the 2027 season! 🙌🏽

These three incredible ladies have done a tremendous job in their roles over the past two seasons, and the results speak for themselves. This year, all three guided their respective teams to finals, which was a fantastic to see after a few seasons of rebuilding.

It’s been wonderful to see so much growth and development across all three grades under their guidance, and we couldn’t be more excited to have Haley, Ellie and Kez back on board to help our teams progress even further next year!
