Trainers utilise many techniques in an attempt to get the horses to perform their best on race day.

Yackandandah Park, located only 20mins from the Wodonga Training Complex, is one of those techniques that we use to keep our horses feeling well.

Pictured here is Dunvegan, who broke through for his maiden victory at Wagga yesterday, enjoying the green grass and spectacular paddock views. Following yesterdays win he will spend the next few days in the paddock, recovering from his run and to freshen up ahead of his next race start.

We feel that these few days of rest & relaxation can prolong a horses preparation and optimise their performance on race day.

Congratulations to the DJ O'Prey Racing team and all of Lady Kemadecs connections. Lady Kemadec made it back to backs today taking out the first event at Albury.
Between wins she spent a few days of rest and relaxation at Yackandandah Park.
