Thank you for your patience while I prepare to make my return to the pool next week. I know I have several new PAQs to respond to, and I can’t wait to reconnect with you all and welcome some new faces to our Aquacamp77 family!

As we dive into the cooler winter months, please note that our Wednesday night session has been paused until the weather warms up again in September.

This leaves you with:

I remember the first time I met Samuel Johnson face to face at my Swimathon event. We sat in the carpark in the gutter and he asked me about my cancer story.

I said I was diagnosed on my son’s 7th birthday and he stopped me right there. Looked at me and said Connie was diagnosed on her son’s 4th birthday.

I only tell you this because I want you to understand cancer doesn’t wait for the right time. It pounces when you least expect it.

To this day I remain vigilant. I have shared my story for years to help save more lives.

I thank everyone who has ever donated to my fundraising efforts. From the first fundie to now we are well over $200k raised for cancer research.

Love Your Sister has raised to date well over $20million and I am so proud to be a part of Connie’s legacy to this day.

It was crunch time With one of tonight poolside drills firing up the core and building abdominal strength. Using controlled movements in the water, our crew worked through a targeted crunch-based exercise that challenges stability, balance, and endurance, all while keeping it low-impact and high-energy.

The resistance of the water adds that extra burn while supporting the body to help maintain good form and reduce strain.

Strong core = better technique, better power, and better performance in the water 💦💪🏽💦
