A special milestone this weekend for us at 99 with one of our own cars now getting 99’s first Pole and Race Win.

Chassis 99-002 was built mid last year for Will Thompson completely in-house at 99. I’ve built a few cars, stripped and rebuilt more, but this is the first car from scratch in 99 to now get a Pole and a Win.

To Shane, Josh in Fab, Matty in Paint and Charlie for all their work to get this car to where it is today. I’m proud of what we produce and it’s amazing to think now, Chassis Numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 all raced at Winton yesterday. Very Proud

An amazing weekend for the team at Round 1 of the TGRA Scholarship Series at Winton Motor Raceway.

Will Thompson put on a clinic with 2x P2 finishes and a race win.
Darsyn Harris completed his first ever race meeting in cars, bringing it home with a Top 15 finish after a few eventful races.
Karlai Warner had a solid start to the season, finishing the round inside the Top 20.
Lachy Tapp showed strong pace early with P6 in qualifying, but unfortunately contact in Race 1 ended his weekend prematurely.

A strong start to 2026, and plenty to build on.

Next stop: The Bend Motorsport Park in May. 🏁

Overall a positive opening weekend with all 3 cars showing great pace!

Race 3/3 done and dusted here at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Ben drove a hard fought race, holding onto P7.

Will had a good drive through the field to finish P9 after starting 14th.

Unfortunately Romeo had to retire the car with a puncture in the opening laps.

Race 2 of the weekend in the books!

Ben battled his way up to 7th early in the race and managed to hold position until the finish.

A tough race for Will, fighting all race but unfortunately picking up a 5-Second time penalty, finishing the race in 14th.

Romeo drove a great race, charging through the pack, finishing in 15th after starting from 26th.

There is one more race to go this weekend - Race 3

Race 1 here in Sydney all wrapped up!

Will managed his race well, moving up one position to finish the race in 5th.

Ben had a great charge through the field, finishing 10th, up 9 positions from where he started.

Romeo was unfortunately caught up in an incident on lap 2 and did not finish the race.

2 more races tomorrow to push on to and make our way up the grid 💪

2 Practice sessions wrapped up here at Sydney Motorsport Park!!

Will Thompson lead the Ninety9Motorsport charge in Practice 1, finishing the session in 3rd place. With Romeo Nasr and Ben Stewart hanging around the top 10 in both Practice sessions.

Time to give the cars a tune up overnight, in time for Qualifying tomorrow at 1:20pm
