🏆 JUNIORS | GRAND FINAL RESULTS 🏆
What a weekend for our Junior Emus! ❤️🖤
Three teams stepped onto the Grand Final stage and every single one of them gave it everything they had. The effort, determination and team spirit shown by these players was something to be incredibly proud of. 👏
⚽ U12D | 0–2 LOSS
Getting in and giving it their all, the team pulled together to shut down Mountains’ attacking plays time and time again.
Going into half time 1–0 down, they came out ready to fight. They dug deep to keep Mountains out while pushing forward and applying pressure of their own. The chances were there, but unfortunately they couldn’t find the back of the net before Mountains secured their second.
A fantastic effort from the team and an amazing season from a bunch of legends. ❤️
Huge congratulations to Ben, Clint and the U12D team on a brilliant season! 👏
⚽ U13B | 2–4 LOSS
Heading into the Grand Final with a couple of injuries, the team had to adjust — and they did exactly that.
They pushed from one end of the field to the other, working together and putting Kincumber under pressure. Keeping the score at 0–0 at half time, the Emus recharged, reassessed and came out even stronger.
Both teams battled hard until the final whistle, with the game going to extra time. With neither side able to find that golden goal, it came down to a penalty shootout.
It’s a tough way to finish a Grand Final, but these boys showed grace, resilience and plenty of fight. They should be incredibly proud of what they achieved. ❤️🖤

⚽ U15B | 5–4 WIN ON PENS!!! 🏆🔥
WHAT. A. GAME! 😱
Taking on a quick and strong opposition, the boys went out there with one thing in mind — THE WIN!
They moved the ball, made the tackles count and pushed their attack at every opportunity, showing exactly why they earned their place in the Grand Final.
It was 0–0 at half time, with both teams coming out hungry in the second half. Wyong created chances, fought for every ball and kept pushing, but neither side could find the back of the net.
So... PENALTY SHOOTOUT! 😱
Starting strong, it was locked at 4–4 before things got tense. And then our keeper Van stepped up HUGE! 🧤🔥
Quality saves kept the Emus in it before our 9th player calmly buried the winning penalty to seal a 5–4 victory! 🏆❤️🖤
Absolute scenes! What a finish for this hardworking bunch of lads.
Congratulations to Brendan, Kane and the U15B boys on an incredible Grand Final win! 🏆👏

The results may be different, but the effort, determination and pride were the same. What a season for our Junior Emus!
And a massive thank you to the families that support these teams, get them to training, games, wash those muddy uniforms, smelly boots and the post game replays - you play a huge part in this journey too.
