Hi all,

We are doing something a little different and putting on a short 6 week Winter Roster 😁

Starting next Thursday July 30 and running through to September 10. Past, present and new players are welcome. All skill levels will be catered for so feel free to give it a go, even if you haven't played any competition Squash before, we will have people around to help and guide you. We also have spare racquets so don't even let that discourage you! Great prizes up for grabs, share with your friends 👍

We will be running a 3 week long round robin of timed squash starting this Thursday. There are only 16 spots and it will be first in best dressed. You must be able to be at courts on time (we will have 1 round starting at 7pm and another at 7:30. You will know your opponent and your playing time beforehand. Format, warm up for 5 minutes, play for 10, rest for 2, and then play for another 10. The winners will be the ones with the most points in from each division. Let us know if you’re interested 👍

Wrapped up our shortened autumn pennant last Thursday night with a bang. Big thanks to all players who had a hit. We were really challenged with lots of injuries and unavailabilities for this pennant so it was a great effort to still go ahead.

Courts open every Monday and Thursday night from 7 onwards so come along and keep hitting. We will be kicking of a new roster soon!

Looking for a new sport, to stay active or even just to get out in the community and meet new people, individually or with the family? Squash may be just the thing for you!

The Wynyard Squash Racquets Association will be hosting a casual open/grading evening in preparation for a new year of squash. This will be held on February 19th at the Wynyard squash courts from 6pm onwards. All are welcome.

If you have never played before or you’re not confident, our club captains and committee will be around to show you the ropes and to answer any questions you might have about getting involved in the club. Even if you’re not sure if you want to get on the court, still come along and see what it’s all about!

Returning players, this is also a good chance for you to brush the cobwebs off your racquets and prepare for another great year of squash!

For those who are interested in playing in our competitions, this is also a great way for our committee to see your level of play to ensure you will be matched with opponents of similar abilities.

We provide racquets, balls and safety eyewear if you require them. Please wear non-marking shoes with stable soles and good ankle support if you have them.
