Activities at the club
- Twilight Tennis: Tues 6:30pm-8:45pm, October-March, Wynyard courts, $2 per week.
- Junior tennis: Currently not available
- Social tennis (Wed and Fri 10:30am - midday)
- Pennant roster: Wed

Fees due in October
- Social member $50
- Pennant Playing Member $80
- Junior member (U 18) $30
- Associate membership $50
- Family membership $150 (up to 2 adults

+ 3 children)
- Court gate keys $50 contact Gina Brown, Treasurer 0402 176 793
- Court hire $10 per hr
Payments can be paid by direct deposit (BSB 067 010 Acc no 280 15097 - (please add name to reference) or cash

Tennis court hire and keys to the courts can be collected from:
Wynyard courts - United Fuel Station (Pie Face): 10 Inglis Street, Wynyard
Somerset courts - Ampol Fuel Station, 93 Bass Hwy, Somerset (opposite the courts)

Handyman Steve has now built 2 hook rails to hang the junior racquets up on. Previously, the racquets were leaning up against the wall in the small room off the club house, which caused a domino effect when one racquet fell over. Thx Steve for all your help.

A big thank you to Steve Hunter for building the new shelves at our Somerset club house. They look great and have given us so much more storage space. We have been able to relocate some of the big bulky items out of the small storage room and onto the new shelves.

Thanks Bry for removing the mud, leaf litter and grass sprouts from around the court and picnic table, and to the mystery cleaner who tidied up our store room in the Somerset clubhouse. Isn’t it great to have club member's giving a helping hand to make our club a great place to be. 👏

Summer Roster Grand Final 2026 - Yesterday was the grand final of the midweek NW Tasmania club-against-club competition held at the Devonport Tennis Club. A big congratulations to Devonport for winning the Div 1 comp against Wynyard Somerset and to Port Sorell who took out top honours in Div 2 against Forth. Well done to all the competitors taking part, and to the spectators who came along and gave us support. It was a hard fought battle out there but a lot of good fun too.

Thanks to Dave, Steve, Jono and Heather for cleaning up the Wynyard courts today. They were sopping wet and littered in leaves and twigs from the wind on Thursday night. After all the hard work, no one showed up for social and still too wet to play anyway.
