Come along, enjoy the outdoors, meet new people and discover just how much fun croquet can be. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: Association Croquet, Golf Croquet and Ricochet from 9am. Coaching by arrangement on club play days.

Mixed doubles brings its own challenges, with partners needing to consult on their next shot. All that discussion can make for a slightly slower pace than singles, but it’s all part of the strategy!
The round-robin competition saw each partnership play seven games. Winners were decided by the team winning the most hoops, with net hoops settling any ties.

What a fabulous turnout for Wynnum Croquet Clubs Inaugural Monday Mahjong sessions.

Twenty one ladies and gents joined us for a fun packed morning and afternoon learning the game of Mahjong under the tutelage of our friend Frances Gray.

Thank you all for making the day such a wonderful success, with many questions being asked, books being ordered and promises of continuing play.

Then, just as the forecasters had promised, the rain finally arrived. Play continued through the drizzle because, naturally, a few drops of water were never going to stop a dedicated croquet player!
But then the heavens opened.
When it started to really pour down, even the most committed players decided that discretion was the better part of croquet, and play was finally abandoned.
