Whats the Number?
In 81 days, it will be January 1st 2022.
In 74 days, it will be Christmas 🎄🎄
In 13 days, it will be our Final Challenge for the year.
Blink and you'll miss it.
This year has presented challenges for everyone. One thing it hasn't done is stopped. Have you?
Have you been thinking about getting back into training again?
Have you stopped to take a moment and work out that everything keeps going.
Time is going to pass anyway. The days will keep ticking over, with or without us.
Have you decided which number is the day you'll get back on track, get back in the game, make decisions for the future or commit to an active lifestyle?
As a coach I have the great privilege to chat and listen to what challenges may be in your way.
This year has been unique and I have been hearing and seeing some of the same things over and over, across many sectors and not just in fitness, like:
➡️ I want to get back to pre-Covid. I was doing so well.
➡️ I have lost all drive with everything right now, I just can't get motivated.
➡️ I really need to lose a few kilos again.
➡️ Once this all blows over, I should be right.
➡️ It's hard to get up at the moment.
➡️ I really need to train more
➡️ It's been tough, financially
Did I miss any? There are some very valid reasons in our life right now that may push us towards feeling any of these things (or maybe all of them), and that's okay.
But how do you combat those thoughts or feelings? Why do they happen?
"Small things get magnified in the absence of a bigger vision."
Sometimes we're so focused on everything around us that we forget to see past and through it, especially when it's not going to plan or how you expected.
A bigger vision is your future, it's your plans, goals and how you wants things to be. It's what you are willing to work towards.
Once we're able to create a better vision, plan or goal to see past the current situation, that's when we start to see change.
That's when we need to implement action and, when we can't get the action going, we need to keep coming back to that vision over and over again until taking action is the only possible next step.
You will never have to guess.
You will never be left wondering.
If you found yourself nodding along to any of the above, or you've been feeling something similar, I would encourage you to take some time to create a new set of goals and a new vision.
So now you have your vision, what's next? We go to work.
On October 25th our last challenge of the year starts in the studio. It's 45 days. If you want to make some changes, it starts when you decide.
