Manor Lakes Football Club The Manor Lakes Football Club was incorporated on the 14th of August 2012. The club will be known as the Manor Lakes Storm.

Our Club First Awards recognise those who stepped up for the Storm in 2026 — taking on another role, volunteering their time, and doing whatever was needed to help our club and our people.

Coaching & Playing

Already committed to playing with our Senior Thirds, Peter and Codey took on the added responsibility of coaching our U10s.

They gave their time to help teach our young Storm players the basics of the game we all love, while balancing their own playing commitments.

A huge thank you to both of you for stepping up and helping develop the next generation of Storm players. 👏

Senior & Junior Football

Chris came across to the Storm from another club and quickly embraced the love, passion and family that makes our club what it is.

As a player and captain of our Senior Thirds, Chris already had plenty on his plate, but he still stepped up to help our merged U14s team as a runner.

With no personal connection to the team, he was still more than happy to give up his time and help our boys through what was a challenging year on the field.

That's putting Club First. 🧡🖤

Team Support

Behind every team that looks organised, there is usually someone quietly fixing everything behind the scenes.

In 2026, that person was Liz.

As Team Manager of our U12 Premiership team, Liz played a huge role in keeping things running smoothly, while also regularly helping out our other junior teams whenever needed.

And when the Senior Thirds needed a hand with strapping, Liz was there too — sometimes strapping, sometimes mummifying! 😂

Thank you Liz for everything you did for our teams throughout 2026.

🚨 UNDER 16 BOYS COACH WANTED FOR 2027 🚨
Manor Lakes Football Netball Club is looking for the right person to help us build something special with our Under 16 Boys in 2027. 🖤🧡
We’re looking for a coach who is passionate, committed and ready to help take our club to the next level. Someone who wants more than just a coaching role — someone who wants to help build a strong team, develop young players and become part of a growing, family-first club.
Maybe you’re looking for a fresh start at a new club. Maybe you’ve coached before and are ready for a new challenge. Or maybe you’re looking for an opportunity to really make your mark and help shape the future of a junior football program.
We want someone who can bring energy, structure and leadership, but just as importantly, someone who can create an environment where boys enjoy their footy, improve, build confidence and want to keep coming back.
This is a great opportunity to help us build our Under 16s from the ground up, develop a strong group for 2027 and create a pathway into our senior football program.

Last night we celebrated the end of the 2026 season for our Senior Footballers and Netballers. 🏉🏐

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make it such a great night, and congratulations to all of our award winners! 👏

🏆 CLUBMAN OF THE YEAR – BROOKE ROGERS

A massive congratulations to Brooke Rogers, our 2026 Clubman of the Year.

The work you do for this club is truly above and beyond.

From Auskick, helping with our juniors, and looking after the Seniors behind the bar on Wednesday and Friday nights, to all the countless things you do behind the scenes that make life easier for everyone else — you are always there to help.

⭐ OUR FIRST LIFE MEMBER

Last night we also had the privilege of inducting our very first MLFNC Life Member – President Shane White.

There are no words that haven't already been said about Shane and what he means to this club.

You are the backbone of MLFNC and a huge reason this club stands where it does today.

Since beginning your journey with the club in 2013, you've taken on just about every role imaginable. From running the canteen, coaching, field umpiring for the juniors, water boy and trainer, to helping wherever you are needed on game day — you've always been there.

And yes, you've even pulled the boots on a few times when the body allowed! 😂

There is no one more deserving of becoming the first Life Member of the Manor Lakes Football & Netball Club.

Thank you, Shane, for everything you have given — and continue to give — to the Storm. 🧡🖤

Now it's time for a well-earned break before the 2027 campaign begins, with football pre-season kicking off over the next couple of months.

Thinking about your footy in 2027? Before looking too far from home, come and see what’s happening right here in Melbourne’s West at Manor Lakes Storm. 🖤🧡
We’re welcoming new players across all age groups for the 2027 season:

Our junior program is continuing to grow, and after seeing our Under 12’s bring home a premiership in 2026 🏆, we’re incredibly excited about what’s ahead for our young Storm players.
For our juniors, it’s not just about winning games. We want to create an environment where every child can learn the game, build confidence, improve their skills, make new friends and most importantly enjoy their footy.
Whether your child has been playing for years or has never kicked a footy before, they are welcome at the Storm. Our coaches and volunteers are focused on helping every player develop at their own pace while teaching the importance of teamwork, respect, effort and being a great teammate.
We want our juniors to look forward to training, love pulling on the Storm jumper and feel like they are part of something special. 🖤🧡
For our older junior players, we also want to help them continue developing their football, fitness and understanding of the game as they prepare for the next stages of their footy journey.
And for the parents — we want you to feel part of the club too. We’re building a strong family-friendly club environment where players, parents, coaches and volunteers can enjoy being around the footy club together.
For our Senior Thirds, it’s about enjoying your footy, playing with your mates, meeting new people and having some fun on a Friday night — then getting your weekends back! 🍻🏉

A massive congratulations to our Under 12’s for bringing home the cup! What an unbelievable effort from this entire group. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you.

A huge shoutout to Enes #15 for taking out Best on Ground — what an achievement mate! Absolutely well deserved and we are all so proud of you. 👏🔥
