Eat with the Season β Winter
Winter invites us to slow down, rest more deeply, and nourish ourselves with warming, sustaining foods.
In Chinese medicine, winter is linked with the Kidney and Bladder systems β our foundation of energy, resilience, and restoration. This is the season to conserve energy rather than push through exhaustion.
One of the simplest ways to support your health in winter is to eat with the season.
β’ Choose warm, cooked meals such as soups, stews, casseroles, and roasted vegetables
β’ Use warming spices like ginger, cinnamon, and chai spices to support circulation and digestion
β’ Reduce excessive cold foods and icy drinks to help protect your digestive fire
