Wyangala Danglers Fishing Club Wyangala Fishing Club (Wyangala Danglers) is a sub club of the Wyangala Country Club.

The Wyangala Fishing Club (Wyangala Danglers) is a sub-club of the Wyangala Country Club. We organise both members-only and open fishing competitions throughout the year at Wyangala Dam. To join our fishing club, you must first be a member of the Wyangala Country Club. Fishing club membership costs are: $5 per adult for one year or $15 for three years; $2 for juniors (under 16) for one year or $6 for three years; or $10 for a family membership for one year or $30 for three years. Our fishing club boundaries include the Abercrombie River and Lachlan River extending to Condobolin. Members can fish throughout the year within these boundaries to qualify for Major and Monthly prizes awarded at Presentation Night. To submit your catch, take a photo of your fish on your brag mat as proof, record the catch in the folder at the Wyangala Country Club, and have the bar staff or weigh master witness your entry. We encourage catch and release practices and sell brag mats at the Wyangala Country Club.

Wow what a night what can we say.

First we need to say a big thanks to our amazing Trivia Queen Anna you were amazing with out you last night wouldn’t have happened. Then we have all our local businesses who donated amazing prizes Thank you 💙 Wyangala Country Club Wyangala Golf Club, Breakout Brasserie, Studio 36a Collective ,JJ dresser, Japanese Garden Cafe, The Hideout,Busys Cafe and Bistro(food was amazing), Rob & Jillian, George & Kaz, Lisa & Brian Dunk you guys are so generous thanks. But a big thanks to everyone who attended the night it was great to see over 70 people come together and show your support to help Maddon make her dream come true

🎣 Cowra Motors Junior Carp Competition – What a Day! 🎣

What an incredible day at the Cowra Motors Junior Carp Comp! A huge thank you to all the junior anglers, families, volunteers, and supporters who came out and made the day such a success.
We’re excited to share that a massive 121 fish were caught across the competition – an amazing effort by everyone involved! 👏🎉

Congratulations to all of our award winners – well done on your fantastic achievements. 🏆👏

A message from the Vice President

What can I say Junior Carp Comp and some really happy kids, but I need to say a big thanks from the bottom of my heart to some people that helped make the day happen.
Pat thank you for putting your trust in me to lead your team while you have been unable to ❤️. To all the business that sponsored the day without your support and generosity we wouldn’t have seen all the happy kids and had the amazing prizes. Reily for jumping in when needed your help didn’t go unnoticed and your boys are amazing they just helped when needed so thank you to you and your family. Our committee thanks for putting up with me telling you what to do you really don’t know how much I appreciate all you guys did on the day ( even though Tom wanted to take my pen all the time😂). But there are a few special people that helped me and I will name you and I hope I don’t miss anyone out because your help meant the world to me and you all went out of your way to help me make the day run smoothly, so a big thanks to Reflections Wyangala Waters Scott, Sharon, Ash, Sandy, Paul, Peter and Margaret from head office all your help meant so much to me so thank you from the bottomof my heart for all your help and I look forward to working with you all with our future comps that we will hold in the park.
