Commiserations to our incredible U13 Tigers, who fought right to the very end today. Their determination, grit and never-give-up attitude was on full display — it just wasn’t their day.

Hold your heads high knowing you left absolutely everything on the field. What a season, and what a team to be proud of! 👏🖤💛

A highly skilled, seamless team effort saw the boys come away with the chocolates and etch their names into club history.

The stage is set.... The hard work is done!

Now it's time for our junior Tigers to leave it all on the field as our Under 13s take on Lucknow Magpies and Under 15s battle the Lakes Entrance Seagulls in their GRAND FINALS! 🐯🖤💛

What an AMAZING weekend of junior footy! 👏🔥

A huge congratulations to our Under 13s and Under 15s, who both battled it out in their semi-finals and came away with fantastic wins! 🐯🙌

Both teams have now secured their spots STRAIGHT INTO THE GRAND FINAL! 🏆

We couldn’t be prouder of the effort, determination and teamwork shown by our young Tigers. What a reward for all the hard work they’ve put in throughout the season!

Now, it’s time to get behind them and ROAR them all the way to Grand Final glory! 🖤💛

The finals have arrived, and it's time for our Tigers to roar! 🐯

Let's get behind our teams this weekend and fill the sidelines with plenty of yellow and black. As always, let's represent the Wy Yung Junior Football Club with pride—showing respect, encouragement and great sportsmanship.

📍 All finals are played at Bairnsdale City Oval
🕚 11:00am – Under 13s 🆚 Lucknow

⚠️ GAME DAY REMINDERS⚠️

💵 CASH ONLY at both the entry gate and canteen. $5 entry fee per adult, under 18 free.
👏 Be positive and supportive of all players. Cheer loudly for our Tigers, but also acknowledge great efforts from the opposition.
🔺 Respect our umpires. They play an important role in our game and deserve our support.
🚫 Spectators are not permitted on the ground during games.
📏 Please remain outside the 10-metre exclusion zone around the coach's box at all times.

As a club, we can create a positive and welcoming finals atmosphere where every player can enjoy the experience.

Tomorrow our Tigers hit the road to Paynesville to take on the Gulls in the final round of the 2026 season.

With finals just around the corner, there's no better time to bring the energy! Let's pack the sidelines, cheer loud, and help our Tigers roar into finals with plenty of momentum behind them. Every voice counts!

➡️ A reminder that our Under 15s have the bye this weekend—enjoy the well-earned week off, and we can't wait to see you back for finals! 💪

As we wrap up another fantastic home-and-away season, we'd also like to say a huge thank you to every player, coach, team manager, volunteer, family member and supporter who has played their part. Whether you've worked in the canteen, fired up the BBQ, run the gate, kept score, waved the flags or completed your rostered game day duties, you've helped make every Sunday a success. Our club simply wouldn't be the same without you. 👏✨🙏

Our senior club is looking for a volunteer aged 18 or over to help with gate admissions this Saturday.

With only two rounds left, let's get around our amazing junior players and make plenty of noise from the sidelines. Pull on your black and yellow, bring your loudest cheers, and let's finish the season with plenty of Tiger spirit! ✨

A gentle reminder to all of our families to please turn up for your rostered game day duties. Many hands make light work, and everyone's help ensures game day runs smoothly for our players and families. 🙏

The Tigers are ready to take on the Magpies this Sunday at Lucknow, and we'd love to see our Tiger family there in full force!

With only a few home and away games left this season, let's paint the boundary yellow and black! Grab your scarves, wear your club colours, warm up those cheering voices, and let's make sure our junior Tigers know we've got their backs every step of the way.

🐯 Game Day Reminder: Before you settle in to cheer (or grab a coffee! ☕), please check if you're rostered for any game day duties. If you've got a job to do, check in with your Team Manager before the game. Many hands make light work, and our club simply couldn't do it without our incredible volunteers.
