Another big week of footy and another group of deserving Swannies recognised for their efforts!

Whether it was fierce tackling, relentless running, great teamwork or simply giving 100% from the first bounce to the final siren, these players stood out for all the right reasons.

We were treated to a fantastic morning of junior footy with our U9 Red and U9 White teams facing off, U10s taking on Niagara Park, and U11s up against Bateau Bay.

The sun was shining, the running was fast, the tackling was tough, and the teamwork was top-notch. It was great to see players backing each other up, giving their all, and showing plenty of Swannies spirit.

We love seeing our kids develop their skills, build friendships and have fun out on the field.

As part of our 50-year celebrations, we wanted to add a bit of extra fun to Sunday’s footy while raising some funds to support our junior players. We couldn’t have done it without the generosity of some amazing local businesses.

This weekend we celebrate 50 years of the Peninsula Swans with a fantastic day of footy, family fun and community spirit at Rogers Park.

With all of our teams playing at home, there’ll be plenty of action from the first bounce of Auskick at 8.00am right through to our U12s at 1.45pm.

While you’re cheering on the kids, make a day of it:
🌭 Grab a BBQ snack
🍭 Treat the kids to fairy floss
🎨 Get a face paint
🎡 Have a go at the Spin the Wheel
🥤 Pick up a limited-edition 50th Anniversary drink cooler
🎁 Choose a lucky dip

Congratulations to these two legends, Alby and Chevy, who will celebrate their 50-game milestone together tomorrow!

A fitting achievement for two great mates who started footy together and have played alongside each other for the past five years in the red and white.

From their first game to their 50th, both have shown commitment, teamwork and a great love for the club.
