At Woy Woy Rec Physie we provide high quality dance classes for children & adults (beginner & advanced) in a friendly, welcoming and supportive environment. Girls & women of all ages are guided to achieve their fullest potential whilst having fun and making friends that will last a lifetime. Our highly experienced and qualified teachers are extremely passionate and dedicated. They love what they do and teach with great leadership, direction & love. The Woy Woy Recreational Physie Club has been established for over 45years. The club has well over 150 members of all ages ranging from 2yrs to 60yrs+. At Woy Woy Rec Physie we welcome beginners and experienced dancers of all ages and capabilities. We are a friendly, community and family orientated club and we pride ourselves on the support and encouragement our families provide to each other. At Woy Woy Rec Physie we are a FAMILY! PHYSIE is all about fun, fitness and friendship. It is the only dance sport with variety, where girls and women can learn five kinds of dance and exercise in every class. One of the best things about Physie is that mums and daughters can both take part. Physie as an organisation that has 125 years of history and knowledge behind us, creating exciting and innovative dance and exercise routines for girls and women. Woy Woy Rec Physie provides wonderful performance opportunities for all members including dance workshops, mini concerts, performing at the Sydney Royal Easter Show and numerous others. A lot of hard work and dedication has gone in to making Woy Woy Rec Physie, currently one of the most successful clubs on the Central Coast and one of the most successful in the country. Results aside, fun, friendship, fitness and club spirit is what our club and sport is all about. Woy Woy Rec aims to improve the health of girls and women by promoting physical fitness and mental wellbeing. Our aim at Woy Woy Rec Physie is to encourage every student to fulfil their potential in the gift of dance & to be a confident person in their everyday life. It is most important to us that each student has a sense of belonging within our club and that students learn the love of dance in a safe & caring environment whilst HAVING FUN! We aim to ensure every student feels important and to work towards attainable goals for each student as in preparation for competitions and performance opportunities.
