🏅🏑Wow what a day we had. Our lions team had never played an official game before today but we trundled down to the National tournament to have a go and we were all very honoured to win the Best and Fairest team award.

It was over 40oC and we played 10 games over 5 hours. There were 8 teams in total and we want to say a huge thank you particularly to the SWS Wombats and mix team for helping us out as we were down a couple of players. All the teams were so encouraging to us for our first tournament and lots of players offering tips and pointers between the games.

We came down to have some fun and have a go and have come away feeling inspired and with lots of ideas and plans on how we can improve. Maybe next match we can win some games... or something of us will be happy if we just manage to stay on the unicycle the whole time 🙌🤪

We are thinking about getting team shirts for heading down to Sydney for this comp. What colour should we get for our CC Lions?!
This is normally interstate, so if you are keen, make the most of it being so close to us.
