He is by Smart Chic Olena who earned nearly $167,472.00 in his own career in cutting and reining cow horse events. His dame is by High Brow Cat who's progeny have made almost seventy million in cutting prize money. When Hesa Catty Chic came to Australia he was sent to Graham Amos who assessed him. Graham Amos comments on his assessment of Hesa Catty Chic, "I found him to be a great horse, great temperament and very athletic. I think he has a great future in this country for breeding cutting horses, campdraft horses, any cow horse at all. I would highly recommend him to anyone."
