All members and families are invited to attend the Woori Yallock Junior Football Club Annual General Meeting.

All positions on the committee are declared open and up form nomination.

The AGM is an opportunity to reflect on the 2026 season, discuss the future of our club and elect the 2027 Committee.

Nominations for committee positions:
- Must be received at least 14 days before the election.
- Must be made in writing.
- Must include the consent of the person being nominated.
- A member may nominate themselves.
- Alternatively, a member may be nominated by another member who is entitled to vote.

The Get Active Kids Voucher Program is now open!

We are pleased to let you know that we are a Get Active Kids Voucher Program Activity Provider and Round 11 is open!

Get in quick as applications for a voucher will close at 10am on 13 October or earlier if the budget allocation is fully exhausted.

If your family or child has a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, you may be eligible for up to $200 to put towards the cost of your child’s registration and membership fees.

Apply now at www.getactive.vic.gov.au/vouchers to have your voucher emailed to you.

When registerstrations open on PlayHQ in November, at the payment page you will see an option to pay using an Active Kids voucher. Pop in your code and your fees will be covered!

Be sure to select us as your Activity Provider. We are listed as Woori Yallock Junior Football Club and our Get Active Kids Voucher Program number is 2951166

Eligible children may receive up to $200 to cover the costs for membership and registration fees. Applications are now open.

🏆 A BIG NIGHT FOR WOORI! 💛🖤

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate two of our wonderful club people following tonight’s Outer East Football Netball League Community Awards.

A huge congratulations to Adele Ormsby, who was named Junior Coach of the Year!

Adele coached our U14 Boys this season and has given so much to junior football over many years. This award is wonderful recognition of the time, energy and care she puts into developing our young players. A very well deserved honour.

We’re also incredibly proud of our Secretary, Stacey Batten, who was named a finalist for Volunteer of the Year.

Stacey does an enormous amount of work behind the scenes to keep our club running, much of which most people never see. To be recognised amongst the league’s most outstanding volunteers is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of just how valuable she is to our club.

Congratulations Adele and Stacey and thank you for everything you do for the Woori Yallock Junior Football Club.

We’re very lucky to have you both. 💛🖤🐯

💛🖤 Happy Father’s Day! 🖤💛

Wishing a very Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandads and father figures in our Tiger community. 🐯

Thank you for the lifts to training, early Sunday mornings, goal umpiring, coaching, volunteering, sideline support and everything else you do to help our young Tigers enjoy their footy.

💛🖤 Celebrating Our 2026 Volunteers of the Year 🖤💛

As we wrapped up our presentation nights, we were very proud to recognise two incredible volunteers for their contribution to our club this season.

🏆 Volunteer of the Year – Irene Wilk

Irene took on the huge job of running our canteen this year and was there for every home game, from early morning set-up right through to cleaning up after the final game of the day. Her commitment, reliability and countless hours behind the scenes have been incredible.

🏆 Female Volunteer of the Year – Adele Ormsby

Adele has contributed to Woori junior footy in just about every way possible over many years. Running Auskick, coaching, undertaking team manager and trainer roles, serving on the committee and this year coaching our U14 Mixed team, all while balancing her Interleague coaching commitments.

Junior football simply doesn’t happen without people willing to give their time, and we are incredibly fortunate to have volunteers like Irene and Adele in our Tiger community.

Congratulations and a huge thank you to you both – very well deserved! 👏🐯💛🖤

📣 **NOTICE OF SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING**

Woori Yallock Junior Football Club will hold a Special General Meeting on Thursday 10 September 2026 at 7pm at the Woori Yallock Clubrooms.

The club has recently undertaken a comprehensive review of its constitution with governance consultants CPRG. As a result of this review, a proposed new constitution has been prepared to ensure our governing rules align with current legislative requirements and contemporary standards of good governance.

Members will be asked to consider and adopt the proposed new constitution at the Special General Meeting.

Prior to the meeting, we encourage all members to review the following documents:

What a great night celebrating our youngest Tigers! 🎉🏆

Tonight our U8, U9 & U10 teams wrapped up their 2026 season with their presentation night.

A fantastic evening celebrating a season full of footy, friendships, fun and plenty of Tiger spirit! A huge thank you to our coaches, team managers, volunteers and families for everything you’ve done throughout the year.

And most importantly, congratulations to all of our young Tigers on a fantastic season. We can’t wait to see you all back in the yellow and black in 2027! 🐯💛🖤
