We are pleased to announce the winner 🏆 of the Harry Jan Keiser Award for the Best Student Presentation at the 2021 CPISRA International Conference: Georgia McKenzie from La Trobe University in Queensland, Australia. Georgia's presentation was entitled “Factors influencing physical activity participation for young adults with childhood onset physical disabilities: A systematic Review”.

Harry Jan Keiser was a CPISRA - Cerebral Palsy International Sports and Recreation Association trustee who had dedicated his life to working in the disability arena. Harry Jan was a Paediatric Physiotherapist for 43 years and most of his career was spent working with people with Cerebral Palsy and other neurological conditions. Sadly, after retiring in June Harry Jan passed away on the 3rd September while out training on his Frame Runner and we are thrilled to honour him with this award. 💙❤️💚

Congratulations to Georgia, and to Hamish Johnson, John Meharry and Siobhan Wong who were all shortlisted in a photo finish decision.

❤️John Buchanan Meharry from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh for his presentation “The impact of physical activity interventions available to adults with cerebral palsy, a systematic review”

💙Hamish Johnson from The Edinburgh University for this presentation “Running Free: The Impact of Frame Running on the Perceived Psychosocial Wellbeing and Quality of Life of Experienced Athletes with Cerebral Palsy (CP)”

💚 Siobhan Wong from The University of Sydney for her presentation “Coaching and Exercise for Better Walking (ComeBACK) trial – What are participants saying?”

We are thrilled to have Prof. Gavin Williams from the University of Melbourne as an invited speaker for the 2021 CPISRA International Conference for Physical Activity & Health! 💚

Prof. Williams has worked in neurological rehabilitation for over 25 years and has been involved in the development of a new classification system for Paralympic athletics, implemented at the London Paralympics.

To hear Gavin deliver a talk on 'Training Running for People with a Neurological Condition' at 7:30am (AEDT) on Friday 10 December, register through the link below 🎟
