Friday 13 was Eildon's annual Awards Day and Morning Tea at the clubhouse followed by lunch at the Belvedere Hotel. Congratulations to all the awardees and all volunteers who make our club what it is.
We also had representatives from City of Moreton Bay, Redcliffe Breakfast Club, and our local members, Luke Howarth and Kerri-Anne Dooley.
We will be back to play on 13 January.

We have had very warm weather so top points go to our intrepid helpers. Last Monday we scarified the top two lawns. Thanks heaps to all our wonderful volunteers. The rain and heat provoked another mow on Thursday.

Congratulations to our Andrew Reibelt Sunday Singles winners & runners-up from yesterday: Block A: Mike Mabbutt, Carol Kleidon; Block B: Steve Helleur, Maggie Lawson; Block C: Chris Lyon, Robert Roose; Block D: Kathy Vincent, Marion Stower.
Despite the cold drizzle that persisted almost all day, there was some great croquet played, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Thanks also to all the volunteers who contributed to another very successful competition.

At long last our bifold door project has been completed. Thank you to Moreton Bay City Council for providing the funding for our project.

We held a small ceremony on Tuesday afternoon and had the ribbon officially cut by Karl Raudvee who was the longest serving member present on the day, helped by Jill Cole, our President.

The new doors will make a tremendous change to our people and air circulation.
