🏏 MASTERS TEAM LEADERS ANNOUNCED FOR THE 2026/27 SEASON ❤️🤍

Woodville South Cricket Club is proud to announce the leadership teams for our Masters sides for the upcoming season.

Over 50's

We're thrilled to welcome back Andrew "Spud" Spence as Captain and Matt Stanford as Vice Captain.

Spud and Matt led our Over 50's brilliantly during our inaugural Masters season, both on and off the field. Their leadership, commitment and passion for the club made a huge impact, and we're excited to have them leading the team again this season.

Over 60's

A very special thank you goes to Peter Tait, who has stepped aside as Captain after leading the Over 60's to the club's first-ever Masters Premiership. Peter's contribution to the club and this team has been outstanding, and that historic achievement will always be part of Woodville South's story. Thank you, Peter.

We're delighted to announce Phil Freeman as our new Over 60's Captain, with Garth Newton taking on the role of Vice Captain. Phil and Garth are a fantastic combination, and we know the team is in great hands for the season ahead.

A huge thank you to Spud, Matt, Phil and Garth for putting their hands up to lead our Masters teams. We'd also like to acknowledge our Masters Coordinator and the many volunteers who continue to give their time behind the scenes to make our Masters program such a success.
