SUNDAY 28th JUNE
We would like to invite all our members, supporters, sponsors, past and present players and their families to Gerry Philips Day 2026.

Starting with 3 junior games from 8:30am, through to the Metro 1 Men at 12:30pm finishing with the Metro 2 Women @ 2:00pm.

Hockey SA is seeking Expressions of Interest from athletes interested in participating in the 2026 Indoor Hockey Program.

U14 & U16 will be held in July for a training camp and/or tournament. Details will be finalised soon.

*U16 – Athletes born on or after 1 January 2010
*U14 – Athletes born on or after 1 January 2012

U18 & Opens will be held in October training camp and/or tournament. Details will be finalised soon.

Athletes and parents interested in being considered are asked to complete the Expression of Interest form by Monday, 29th June 2026.

Remember to play safe hockey;

If in doubt, sit them out when it comes to concussion this hockey season.

The Concussion and Injury Reporting Tool is easily accessible on the homepage of the Hockey Australia and State Association websites for anyone to report a concussion.

If you witness or suffer a suspected concussion - recognise the signs and symptoms, rest the participant, refer the participant to a specialist doctor, and report it at hockey.org.au/injury

🩷🩷PINK DAY - ROUND 6🩷🩷

Woodville Hockey Club is once again hosting our annual Pink Day! We will be raising funds to donate to BCNA and to show our support to those who have battled or who are still battling breast cancer.

Did you know that on average 56 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer per day, making breast cancer one of the most common cancers🤯

All teams will be showing their support by wearing pink socks to their respected games, we will also be running a small bake sale on the day with all proceeds going towards BCNA to fund further research!

The club asks that you wear some form of pink if you are spectating, hope to see you all there🩷

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT!

Woodville Hockey Club would like to warmly welcome Selvaraju Sandrakasi (Raju), who arrives in Adelaide from Malaysia this Saturday morning.

Raju will take on the role of Senior Men’s Coach and work with our Green Machine Junior Development program. With over 100 senior international caps for Malaysia, and extensive experience playing and coaching around the world, we are incredibly excited to have someone of his calibre join our club.

In the coming weeks, Raju will be joined by his wife Pushppa and their two daughters as they settle into life here in Adelaide.

We encourage all members of the Woodville community to give Raju and his family a warm welcome and help make them feel at home.
