Our aim is both to discover and develop Logan’s best talent and provide them a stage on which to play – both locally and on the national stage in the FFA Cup. Today we officially opened the doors to the new Logan Metro FC clubhouse.

While we've been fortunate enough to host football from the facility over the past few weeks, today was an opportunity to pause and celebrate what this project truly means to our club and community.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing so many of the original players, volunteers and supporters who helped establish the club back in 2012 reconnect with the current generation of Logan Metro FC members. It was a powerful reminder of how far the club has come and the many people who have contributed to its journey.

While the clubhouse is officially open, there's still plenty of work to do and finishing touches to come. But today marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our club.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event, and a special thank you to the Queensland Government for its significant investment in this project and commitment to community sporting infrastructure. This facility will serve the Logan community for many years to come.

Thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, members, players and supporters who have stood by the club through the good times and the difficult times.

After more than two years without a clubhouse, today we officially open the doors to Logan Metro FC's new home at Compton Park.

Following the devastating arson attack in January 2024, we lost our clubhouse, equipment and community space. Since then, our volunteers, players, families, sponsors and supporters have helped us continue to grow while operating from temporary facilities.

Today is a celebration of resilience, community and the next chapter of Logan Metro FC.

We'd love to see current players, past players, families, sponsors and the wider community join us throughout the day.

🌧️ COMPTON PARK CLOSED – SATURDAY MORNING MINIROOS 🌧️

Unfortunately, due to the significant rainfall we’ve received this week, combined with the heavy rain that hit Compton Park this evening and more rain forecast overnight, all MiniRoos games scheduled for Saturday morning have been cancelled.

This is not a decision we take lightly. We understand how disappointing cancellations are for players, families and volunteers, and we pride ourselves on keeping our fields open whenever possible. However, the fields are currently unplayable and player safety, along with protecting the playing surfaces, must come first.

A decision will be made after a pitch inspection at lunch time regarding the metro league games tomorrow

Our Walking Football community continues to grow, with more players joining us each week to enjoy the game, stay active and connect with friends old and new.

OFFICIAL GRAND OPENING

After more than two years without a clubhouse, we're excited to officially invite our players, families, members, sponsors and the wider community to celebrate the opening of our brand-new facility at Compton Park.

In January 2024, our clubhouse was destroyed by an arson attack. We lost everything. What followed was a challenging period operating out of shipping containers and temporary facilities.

Despite this, our club continued to grow.
Thanks to the support of our volunteers, members, sponsors, Logan City Council, the Queensland Government and our wider community, we're now ready to open the doors to a facility that will serve our community for generations to come.
