Located in the outer western corridor of Greater Brisbane, Ipswich Rangers Rugby Union Club has been part of the local community since 1968, welcoming players and families of all ages and abilities to be part of the game.

From Tiny Tots (3 years old) right through to senior rugby, the Rangers offer something for everyone — creating a club environment built on inclusion, participation and community connection. With strong foundations and big aspirations, the club continues to make strides toward its long-term goal of competing in Queensland Rugby Union’s Premier Rugby competition.

💚🤍🩷 Women’s & Girls’ Rugby in 2026!
In an exciting milestone, Ipswich Rangers will be launching Girls’ and Women’s teams in 2026 — the first time in a number of years — opening new pathways and opportunities for female players across the region.

To kick things off, the club is inviting the community to come along, have a run and meet the Rangers family.

Ipswich Rangers Rugby Union are proud to launch our Women’s and Girl's Rugby Teams, and we want you to be part of it!

We’re kicking things off with a Sign On Day & Friendly Game of Touch — the perfect chance to have a run, meet the crew, and see what the Rangers are all about.

✨ Who: Any age female – no experience needed
⏰ When: Sunday 8th February 9:00am – 10:00am
📍 What: Friendly touch game + on-the-day sign on at Ipswich Rangers Rugby Union
🔥 Bonus: BBQ afterwards (because rugby = food!)

Training officially begins Wednesday 11th February, with teams forming across U12, U14 and Seniors. Whether you’re brand new to rugby or returning to the game, there’s a place for you.

Bring a friend, lace up your boots, and join the Rangers as we build something exciting, inclusive, and full of energy.
