🏀 Volunteers of the Week 🏀
This week we are celebrating 2 amazing people who have contributed significantly to our club - congratulations to Rob Mulholland and James Crabtree, who are our Volunteers of the Week.

Rob has been a TM over many consecutive seasons, and is always happy to put his hand up to help out.

James Crabtree has coached with Hawks for 3 years, starting out with U16 girls and then continuing on with U14 boys, and now U16 boys.

Thank you SO much Rob and James - your contribution has made such a difference to the players, families and our club. We are incredibly grateful.

As always, a huge shout out to The Vic Hotel for generously donating our weekly prize, so we can reward the amazing efforts of our volunteer team.

☀️Summer Domestic Season 26/27☀️

📣 Priority registrations for current and previous players are closing tonight - don’t miss out!

📣 From tomorrow, all registrations will be subject to whether or not there is room on a team (waitlist fully open)!

📣 From 4 September, full price registration fee applies and you will only be able to register if room on a team.

📣 PayPal pay in 4 is available via PlayHQ. A discount is also available for families with 3 or more players. If you need financial support - help is available, please reach out.

🏀 Volunteer of the Week 🏀

For the last official round of the Winter 2026 domestic season, just before heading into finals, we are celebrating Alison Chilton- congratulations you are this week’s Volunteer of the Week.

Alison is currently delivering our girls Hawks Headstart program. She even filled in today and took the boys session. She is also part of our grading committee, and previously donated her time as a general member of the committee. She has coached U10 girls and U16 girls, and is always keen to lend a hand where she can to keep our fabulous club running smoothly.

You are such a valued member of our Hawks family Alison, and we are incredibly grateful for your contribution.

What happens if I have a prepaid door entry card remaining?

If you have a prepaid SBA door entry card remaining that you do not require for finals, you can submit the card for reimbursement.

To claim a reimbursement:
- Complete a Door Card Reimbursement Form in full.
- Securely staple the relevant prepaid door card to the completed form.
- Return the completed form and card to door staff at any SBA venue or to the SBA office during business hours.

Door Card Reimbursement Forms are available from door staff at SBA venues and can also be accessed and printed through https://www.sunburybasketball.com.au/faqs

Reimbursement claims will be processed over the coming weeks. As we expect a higher volume of claims initially, we appreciate your patience while claims are being processed.

⭐️ This week’s volunteer of the week celebrates one of our youngest volunteers - congratulations to Lucy Fish! ⭐️

Starting her volunteering journey early, Lucy is only in grade 6! She is an amazing support to her sister’s U10 team - she can run drills and has a really great way of explaining things to the team.

She helps so much with motivating the girls - watch this space, future coach in the making!

Thanks so much for volunteering your time Lucy and being such a great help, you’re a very valued member of our Hawks family.
