Yesterday was another family yoga class Macedon Primary…a wonderful way to start the school day

Sharing I can be yoga were we’ve creatively explored being quiet, observing the world, how kindness can be expressed through listening & using words, whilst also being strong & brave

One of the magical moments allowed students, with the support of their families, to think about how they can be uniquely themself…the words that flows truly awesome 🤩

As end of term draws near it was a delight to share family yoga today Mount Macedon Primary School

A great way to connect with family & friends before school started, whilst sharing some of the practices embraced during rhythmic yoga

Yoga has offers me an education too…always learning…this term lots about Grizzy & the Lemmings!!!

Today!!! Come say hi 👋

🌿 Only one more sleep until our Spring Open Day! 🌿

We’re opening our doors tomorrow, Saturday 5 September, 9am - 12 noon, alongside the Woodend Community Farmers' Market.

Come and see what’s happening at the Woodend Neighbourhood House, meet our friendly tutors, activity coordinators, volunteers and staff, explore our spaces and pick up a copy of our Term 4 program.

There’ll be plenty happening throughout the morning, including:

🎨 craft activities - try your hand at Picket Fence Painting and Mandala Greeting Cards

☕ Morning tea - enjoy a cuppa and sweet treat while chatting with our volunteers

🧘 Demonstrations - West African Drumming, Family Yoga, Kirtan, Mahjong and Acrylic Painting

🔧 Repair Café - open as usual in the Undercroft

🚲 Bike Shed - meet the team and find out how they can help get your bike back into tip-top condition

💚 It’s a wonderful opportunity to try something new, meet others in the community and discover the many activities, classes, groups and volunteering opportunities available at the Woodend Neighbourhood House.
