Fantastic evening celebrating the club’s success at the HCCA awards night!!

Congrats to all the winners, Team of the Year players and of course B Grade for coming home with their premiership flag!!

A few stand out milestones were achieved during our finals campaigns!!

- President and long term servant of the club Deans Bloomfield achieving 3000 runs
- B Grade Captain/Leader/Coach Clayton Braddick achieving 1000 runs for the club
- Sir Gregory Downes also recording his 1000th run in what was a stellar year for the great man

At last night’s annual presentation, the Club was delighted to award Life Membership to Jeremy Patterson.
‘Patto’ joined Woodbridge in 2010 and has played over 200 matches for the Club. He has served as Secretary, President and Captain during this time.
A great servant for the Club over many years.

3824 runs (5th on the all time Club records)
103 wickets
50 T20 matches
Only the 16th life membership awarded in the history of Woodbridge

The season has come to a close but there’s one thing left to do and that’s celebrate, not only our successful year as a club but also some stand out individual performances throughout the season!

We don’t want people to go hungry so it’s important we get a pretty good idea of numbers.

It’s been one week since the standout performance by captain/coach Clayton Braddick saw him earn the Albert Player of the Match in the B Grade Final

Well that’s a wrap 🎉

Season 2025/26 for our Stage 1 Junior team came to a close tonight with an epic celebration amongst family, friends and yummy pizza from the crew at Port Cygnet Pizza

It has been an amazing year for the players many playing for the first time, with results often going our way, their tireless efforts at training and on Game Day really paid off. Credit to them for taking on a new sport and excelling at it.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to help celebrate the kids success this season.

A special shout out to everyone - the parents that helped along the way, be it turning a snag at our home games, bringing snacks, fetching cones after games, standing in the field at training, giving the kids pre game throw downs. A massive team effort on all fronts.

While the season is over and the colder days are coming, I can’t help but feel excited for the next season where we do it all again.

For now though, thank you Wombat Juniors and thank you to the Wombats parents on a great successful season.

Reminder about AGM and Vote Count tomorrow, would be great to see as many people as possible
Kicking things off with the AGM at 12:00, followed by the Vote for all grades and the women’s side to recap a wonderful season for the Wombats

The Club AGM will be held this Saturday at the clubrooms. All members and supporters are welcome and encouraged to attend. The AGM will see the election of a new committee for next season to continue on the recent success of the Wombats.

Following the AGM we will be having a BBQ lunch and then the all important Player’s player vote count starting at 1:00pm for A, B, C grade and Women. It looks to be hotly contested across all teams and a great way to look back on the brilliant season had by all.

Whisperings of further festivities heading into town are to be confirmed
