Vale Noel "Butch" West

It is with great sadness that the Glen Alvie Cricket Club acknowledges the passing of Noel "Butch" West.

Noel "Butch" West brought his sons Stephen and Scott to Glen Alvie to play in the Juniors and who went to play senior cricket. He then Captained/Coached for several years in the early 90's where he led the A Grade side to three very competitive semi-finals. Butch will always be remembered for his leadership, forthright opinions and competitiveness.
Our thoughts are with Eileen, the entire West family and everyone whose lives were touched by Butch.

The countdown to another great season is on, and it’s time to get back into training!

Whether you’re a returning player, new to the area, or keen to give cricket a go, we’d love to have you join us. Everyone is welcome!

UNIFORM UPDATE
Uniform purchases this season will be online. We will not be holding a large number of uniforms at the Club.

We have added white and red wide brimmed hats to the shop as requested. Orders will need to placed before August 7th to guarantee delivery before the start of the season. Orders can be made past this date however there is no guarantee that they will be delivered before the start of the season.

The Club could not operate without the support of organisations like Bass Coast Shire Council and our sponsors. Grants like this allow us to keep participation costs as low as possible.
