Hi all, after 9 years we had our last training session at South Gippsland Martial Arts today. Besides our regular activities over the years we have also gone through 2 floodings and 4 Covid lockdowns. In the last 9 years hundreds of people have come in and given martial arts a go, particularly Aikido. I often think that walking through the door to try something new can be the hardest part. Some may have only learnt 1 technique or 2. But everything is something. Some have trained for years. Thank you to everyone that has come along and had a go. I particularly want to thank Andre. We have spent countless hours trying out techniques (old and new) and lots of time just chilling after class. The same goes for Uriah. I wish everyone the best in their future endeavors. This has been us for the last two weeks. There are no classes tonight. Indoor recreation will be able to reopen in regional Victoria. Our first classes back will be this Saturday and Sunday at the regular times. Please check the times on the website if you are unsure. Hopefully we will be able to train for the rest of the term without further lockdowns. Fingers crossed and take care
