🥋 TERM 3 IS HERE! 🥋

We hope everyone has had a fantastic school holiday break! We’re excited to welcome all of our students back as Term 3 begins this Tuesday, 14th July.

⏰ Children’s Class: 5:00pm – 6:00pm
📅 Term 3 runs from Tuesday, 14th July through to Tuesday, 15th September.

A friendly reminder that Term 3 class fees may now be due. Over the coming days, Sensei Matt will be in touch with parents to discuss the available payment options and provide details on the different ways fees can be paid.

🥋 Grading Notice:
Our next grading will be held during class on Tuesday, 8th September. This gives everyone a great goal to work towards throughout the term, so let’s keep training hard and doing our very best!

Thank you to all of our families for your continued support. We’re looking forward to another fantastic term of building confidence, discipline, respect, and strong karate fundamentals.

🥋 SCHOOL HOLIDAY CLASS UPDATE 🥋

A friendly reminder to all of our Wonthaggi Karate families that our Children’s Class will not be operating during the Term 2 school holidays.

📅 No Children’s Classes on:
❌ Tuesday, 30th June 2026
❌ Tuesday, 7th July 2026

🥋 Adult Classes (6:00pm – 7:00pm) will continue to operate as normal during the school holiday period.

We hope everyone enjoys a well-earned break and has a fantastic school holiday period! ☀️

We’ll be back and ready to kick off Term 3 on:

🥋 IMPORTANT CLASS UPDATE 🥋

Unfortunately, Wonthaggi Karate will be closed on Tuesday, 2nd June.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and support.

This class will be added to your trial period or your month of classes included in the welcome package!

The good news is we’ll be back the following week, ready for more training, learning, and fun! 👊

🥋 THIS EVENING AT WONTHAGGI KARATE 🥋

This evening we’ll be focusing on the fundamentals of karate — building strong basics and continuing our kata training! 👊
Classes will include:
✅ Practising core karate basics
✅ Introducing simple combinations
✅ Working on strong stances and balance
✅ Developing coordination, control, and technique
✅ Kata practice and refinement

Strong basics are the foundation of great karate, and every class is a chance to improve confidence, discipline, and skill 💥

This Tuesday we’ll be focusing on partner work — a fantastic way to build confidence, improve technique, develop timing, and learn how to work together as a team! 💥

Partner drills help students:

What an incredible launch night — I’m blown away by the support from the community! 🙌

Due to travel issues, we’ll be closed on Tuesday, April 28th, but don’t worry…
