Pink Ladies - Coledale Waves Soccer

Coledale Waves have begun kicking the ⚽️ around.

We are hoping to field teams in the:
- all age women (ie 18 years and up)
- over 30s and
- potentially 2 teams in the over 40s

We need to register 15 players in each team in the next few weeks to submit to Football South Coast to ‘field’ the teams in each comp.

Currently we are having a kick around each Thursday from 6pm at Clowes Park (Austi).

Comes along and see if it’s a fit for you.

🏖️⚽🌊 THE BEACHES ARE IN THE BIG DANCE! 🌊⚽🏖️

After a season of grit, goals and a lot of fun, our mighty Over 30s aka The Beaches are storming into the Div 2 GRAND FINAL!

They’ve topped the table, fought tooth 'n' nail all season, and shown that when skill meets spirit, you get one unstoppable team 💪💖

This Sunday, it all comes down to 90 minutes against Helensburgh. We beat them 3–1 in the semis, but after winning against Woonona last week the ‘Burgh are back… and this time it’s for the crown 👑⚡

Women's Over 40's:
Coledale Panthers v Woonona Sharks 🩷⚽✨

The Panthers knew we were in for a fight with some super strong attacking Sharks. They came out strong and fast but our amazing backline held strong led by an amazing Gen as Keeper. And did you see our sweeper, Nicky??! Probably not cos she was a blur - blazing across our defence, sending their attacks to the sidelines! We held out their bombarding attacks until the 61st minute.

But the Panthers weren’t disheartened - a quick change of Keeper, let Gen out for revenge and within a swift 8 mins we were back in the game with a textbook goal from Kate, and an amazing assist from Gen. 🔥 The noise from the loud & proud Waves cheer squad did not disappoint!

Woonona got lucky and managed to scrape through a 2nd goal in the 76th minute, and while the Panthers didn’t quit, the scoreline remained unchanged at the final whistle.

While saddened to play our last game of the season, we finished off our season in style - smiles and good times - dancing out our buzz! Thanks to our cheer squad who brought the noise - flying our flags and bringing the energy. 🩷

It was a hard fought game that didn’t go our way but we’ll be back next year - even stronger! 💪
