🐉❤️ U10’s WIN STADIUM ❤️🐉

Last week on Father’s Day our U10’s tackle team were given the opportunity to go and play at WIN stadium before the Dragons & Eels game.

After a massive season this was a nice way to bring the team together and for Braydon their coach to see how far the boys have come.

A big thankyou to Group7, NSWRL & the Dragons Community for providing these opportunities.

Hopefully we see some of these players on the field again during their NRL careers and look back at these photos proud as launch!

🐉❤️ Whilst our season may be over we’d like to congratulate our U16’s GT team again for taking out their Grand Final! A massive achievement for all the girls and their coaching staff. With multiple injuries they showed up consistently every week ready to put it all aside and play their best. We couldn’t not be prouder!

Although our U13’s 2 and U14’s 1 teams didn’t quite make it through this season, they worked unbelievably hard and are winners in our eyes! The growth of every individual is why the teams excelled this year, backed by incredible volunteers giving their time week in week out! We’re excited to see them come back bigger & better in 2027!

St Georges Basin Junior Rugby League Club would like to thank every person involved in 2026 that contributed to our season. Through highs and lows we couldn’t do it without everyone’s ongoing support!

🐉‼️📣 Round 16 and slowly wrapping up the 2026 season!

The spectators rolled in, the sound of boots on the concrete, the whiff of bbq in the air, the glare from the sun off the freshly mowed & lined fields!! Ahhhh yes, footy season is back! With only our 14’s at Home and our 13’s away! What a weekend it was! With 17 teams this year we are everywhere!

Thankyou again to all the hard working volunteers who work tirelessly to make this all happen.

Over 700 participants across 98 teams. A massive Thankyou to everyone who came and helped out today in one way or another. A very long & busy day but we appreciate you all. It’s days like today where we help outside of our own club and it benefits the wider community, schools & boosts the club up financially at the tail end of the season.

It’s also the reason we will be offered opportunities like this because we show up and make it a great day. Amazing effort from each school wrangling all their kids & to PlayNRL South Coast for putting on another great Dragon Tag Gala Day!

We’d also like to acknowledge the younger ones who gave up school today to come and Ref the games, help on Bbq, work in the canteen and stayed around to clean up. Proudly wearing their basin gear and representing what it means to be a dragon. We couldn’t be prouder of our U13’s, U14’s & U16’s players for stepping up every opportunity they get!
