At 23, I began this journey, and opened the doors for the first time in a community I was new to. this Friday the 4th of September, Three and a half years later, they’ll open for the last time. 💙
Writing this is something I’ve been dreading.
What started as a gym became so much more than a place to train. It became a second home where friendships were made, people changed their lives, and countless memories were created.
There have been incredible highs and some very difficult lows, but through all of it, it was the people who walked through our doors that made it worth it. To everyone who supported me, had a laugh, or simply believed in what we were creating, thank you. And to those here since day one, I could never properly explain what it’s meant to me.
I’m proud of what we built. Not the member numbers or sessions coached, but what happened between the people in that room. Closing the doors doesn’t erase any of that.
Sometimes this is just the way the cookie crumbles. This one hurts, but I’ll forever be grateful it happened.
