“Its been a weird week” - At this time of year they all are.
If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard this! The excuses are endless for why your nutrition or training was off this week.
“Work has been crazy”
“I haven’t had time”
“I had this event on”
These things happen every week, this is life. It is rare that we get a ‘perfect’ week. You need to be prepared and you need to prioritise.
Time management is key!
Plan out the meals that you have control over. Do your shop to match and meal prep what you can. If you know you’re eating out a few times plan the meals you’ll be at home well and make sure they push you towards your goal.
Freeze easy, macro friendly meals for those unavoidable late nights or early starts. Sometimes s**t happens and it’s out of our control, prepared meals are the perfect back up plan.
Put your bloody phone down, turn off the TV, and get yourself organised. In the hour you just scrolled instagram you could’ve prepared dinner and lunch for 2 days!
When it comes to your training, do what you can. If thats a short walk - great!! A 30 min full body session - amazing. It doesn’t need to be 2 hours to be effective.
If your health is not a priority you will never have the time for it. We prioritise whats important to us. Make your nutrition and training a priority. Because without it, essentially its your health you’re neglecting.
Be done with the excuses. Take responsibility and be accountable, you’ll thank yourself later.
