Tayla Street Wins Heats 1 & 4 and Finishes Fourth at FIM Women’s Speedway World Cup

Australian speedway rider Tayla Street has capped off a successful international campaign with a standout heat wins at the FIM Women’s Speedway World Cup, finishing fourth overall against the world’s best in Donji Kraljevec, Croatia.

After spending several days at the FIM Women’s Speedway Academy, where riders from around the world worked with experienced coaches to refine their skills and motorcycle setup, Street carried those valuable lessons into the World Cup competition.

The Victorian showed determination and resilience throughout the event, producing a strong ride to take victory in her heats 1 & 4 on the Croatian circuit. Accumulating points across the four heats, she qualified for the final and finished fourth in the Final against the world’s best. The result is a significant achievement against an elite international field and highlights her continued development on the world stage.

“It has been an incredible experience racing against some of the best female speedway riders in the world,” Street said.

“The Academy helped build my confidence and understanding of the track, and I’m proud of the progress we made throughout the week. Winning a heat on the way to the final is something my team and I are really pleased with, and it gives us plenty to build on for the future.”

Street thanked her team, supporters and sponsors for their ongoing commitment throughout her European campaign.

“The support I’ve received has been amazing. Every opportunity to race internationally helps me become a better rider, and I’m excited to keep building towards future world championship events.”

The result marks another important milestone in Street’s career as Australian women’s speedway continues to strengthen its presence on the international stage.

Tayla Street Continues Progress at FIM Women's Speedway Academy in Croatia
DONJI KRALJEVEC, CROATIA – 3 July 2026

Australian speedway rider Tayla Street has completed the opening day of the FIM Women's Speedway Academy in Donji Kraljevec, Croatia, describing the experience as both challenging and rewarding as preparations continue for the FIM Women's Speedway World Cup.

The Academy brought together some of the world's leading female speedway riders, providing valuable track time, coaching and technical development ahead of the international competition.

Despite a demanding first day, Street and the Australian team made consistent progress throughout each on-track session, working methodically to improve the motorcycle setup and build confidence on the Croatian circuit.

"Day one was definitely challenging, but we made improvements every session and kept chipping away at the bike setup," Street said.

"Every lap was a step in the right direction. Tomorrow is a fresh start, with a new approach and another opportunity to learn, improve and keep building."

Representing Australia on the world stage, Street continues to gain invaluable international experience as she prepares to compete against the world's best female speedway riders.

The opening day's lessons and technical adjustments have provided a strong foundation heading into the remaining Academy sessions and the upcoming FIM Women's Speedway World Cup.

Tayla Street Unveils New Team Livery Ahead of the FIM Women's Speedway World Cup
DONJI KRALJEVEC, CROATIA – 3 July 2026.

Australian speedway rider Taylah Street has unveiled a striking new race suit and team livery ahead of the 2026 FIM Women's Speedway World Cup, featuring a unique design with an Indigenous slant that tells the story of her family's rich racing history, her own speedway journey, and the people who have supported her every step of the way.

After spending the past week preparing her motorcycles and completing a successful test session at Landshut, Germany, Street has now arrived in Croatia for two days of training with the FIM Women's Speedway Academy before taking on the world's best riders this Saturday.

While the focus remains firmly on racing, Street said the new race suit represents much more than simply a fresh design.

"The Indigenous artwork tells the story of my racing journey, my family's history in speedway, and all the amazing people who have helped me get to where I am today," Street said.

"As a signwriter by trade, being able to combine my profession with my greatest passion has been incredibly rewarding. Seeing the whole design come to life has been something really special.”

"I also want to sincerely thank Chalky from CW Products for helping turn the vision into reality."

Street said wearing the suit is about representing everyone who has contributed to her journey.

"I'm incredibly proud to represent every single person whose name is on this race kit. “
Their belief and support have helped get Taylah to this point, and she couldn't be more grateful.

"Most importantly, it's an honour to represent Australia on the world stage, and I'll be giving everything I have."

Street will represent Australia at the 2026 FIM Women's Speedway World Cup in Donji Kraljevec, Croatia, where riders from around the world will compete for international honours.

She also acknowledged the outstanding support of her sponsors, supporters, family and volunteers, whose contributions have made this opportunity possible.
