Something for the whole family is coming to Winslow... 🌟
Gather your family, invite your friends and join us for an evening of warmth, laughter and community as we Light the Night together. 🔥

Bring along:
🥘 A casserole to share (slow cooker preferred- to keep food warm)
🥤 Your own drinks
🪑Your own chair
😊 And your community spirit!

Enjoy a cozy evening around the fire drums, roast marshmallows, catch up with friends old and new, and make memories under the stars.

(please let us know if you have a fire drum/portable pit you can contribute for the night)

💛 Everyone is welcome – we'd love to see the whole community there. Glow sticks and DIY lanterns for the kids

🎉 We’ve received some funding to go towards a community event, and we want YOUR ideas!

This is a chance to create something that reflects our community, celebrates what makes us unique, and brings people together.

We’re looking for suggestions for some good ideas: To be held in the next few months.

⚽ Sports and recreation
👨‍👩‍👧 Family-friendly fun

…and anything else you’d love to see or do.

🔥 New BBQ Ready to Go! 🔥

We’re excited to let everyone know that a brand-new BBQ has been installed and replaced the old non working bbq, and is now ready for community use.

It’s all set for your next get-together, family meal, or casual catch-up!

A special thank you to Geoff Saffin for generously giving his professional time to wire the BBQ up! Your ongoing support to our community is truly appreciated!

Enjoy, and please remember to clean up after use so everyone can enjoy it 😊

This Friday we welcome the Spring Creek Strikers U14 girls to host their home game match against North Warrnambool Eels.
In support of the Stiker’s very first all girls team with a number of Winslow locals, as well as getting in on the Halloween festivities, we are providing a BBQ at the Rec Reserve (details to follow).
Whether you’re on the Halloween trick or treat trail or looking to support our local girls in action, come and grab a sausage or 2 this Friday and you might even score some lollies too! @

🚧 You’re Invited to a Big Day on the construction “play day“ Site! 🚧
Grab your hard hats and tool belts — it’s time for some construction fun!

📅 Date: Friday 29th August
⏰ Time: 10am-11am 11am-30 minute snack time/ pack-down. -Please be reminded -many hands male light work, help packing up is greatly appreciated.
📍 Location: Winslow Recreation Reserve

$5.00 per child
$10.00 per family

We’ll be digging, stacking, hammering and building big imaginations together.
Come ready for construction, (dress ups welcome) creative projects, and loads of hands-on activities — all in a safe, fun environment!
