After nearly 18 years of owning my little family business I have retired.
I have made some awesome friends over the years. Friends that are now family.
I would like to thank all the other country centre owners who we have competed with and against its been great being part of you guys.
Thank you to Greg and my cyclones family lots of great memories travelling around the country playing indoor cricket.
Thank you to Shannon and the Mavericks family some great times all while making great friends.
To all my players that play every week you guys were what keep my little business running and for that I thank you all.
I have seen lots of you start as teenagers and now you are married and having children.
It has been a pleasure watching you all grow and find your way into the community.
To all the Wingham Dragons netball and cricket I would like to say a big thank you for representing us with great sportsmanship and pride. We might not have always won but you always made me proud.
I thank you all for keeping me in business for 18 years and I will miss you all.
To Ben and Mel I hope you get as much enjoyment out of the business as I did.
Once again thank you everyone 🖤🧡

This weekend saw the Wingham Dragons travel to Newcastle for super league cricket. In what was a tough weekend of cricket the Dragons had some wins, battled hard for skins, and just showed some great improved performances.

First round of super league cricket!!!!
A mixed bag of results with wins for our men’s 1 and 3 big wins for men’s 2. Our masters might not have got a win but there games were very close and competitive. We like to welcome all our new team mates and all our returning team mates. Congratulations to all players awesome effort.👏👏🧡🖤

Our mixed netball grand final was played tonight and what a very exciting game it was. In a very close match with lots of lead changes the Wildcats took the win by 1 point over the young Forgetfuls side.Congratulations to all players on a fantastic game. Our player of the match went to Daisy. Well played.
We also like to give our fabulous umpire Stacey Adamson a big thank you for the season we appreciate your efforts.
