Oliver and myself travelled to Nepean yesterday on a shoe string budget 🤣 for a practice / development day , 4 rides in very hot conditions, the track caught me out a couple of times I put in a few solid laps But a very enjoyable, conference building day, Oliver and myself even caught up with Australian and international speedway sensation Josh Pickering (PICKO) Man was he flying !!! and a fit looking bu**er to 🏁🇦🇺❤️🤙

Early last Friday morning Oliver and myself travelled to Tamworth for the NSW SPEEDWAY TITLES, We helped out on Friday at the track with some cleaning painting ect , On the Saturday I was originally supposed to ride in the support program which progressed to a reserve for the titles and then you guessed it a call into the main event, Now for a over 50s novice speedway rider that is a huge ask, But I took it on the chin I knew there was going to be races where I would possibly be lapped and yes that did happen, But the big thing for me was the experience of lining up against some of the best riders in the world and what we say in Australia have a crack I'm so greatful for all riders for there advice and support , and for Jo Paul Slade for giving me the opportunity to mix it with the BIG BOYS not that I really did mix it with them but you get the drift 😂 It was a experience i will treasure for the rest of my life a special thanks goes out to Danny Jordan for helping me and mentoring me in the pits and my son Oliver for saying just have fun and ride your bike dad this is dedicated to the late NSW SPEEDWAY RIDER DAVID HAMNETT ❤️🙏🏁🇦🇺
