It’s been a year of highs and lows for CIRacing but the final race of the year we finally got to step on the top step of the podium!
This thankfully elevated kart #66 to 2nd in the championship, so a win in class and 2nd in the championship has made the year worth it.

Thanks to all those involved this year:
Zac Cook
Tyler Cook
Craig Bridge
Stephen Cook
Lawrence Busuttil
Kurtis Read
Graeme Ireland
Rowan Ireland
Louise Cook
Maxine North

What a day! Final results! Unfortunately our worst round yet, that we’ve finished.
#66 and Craig did an epic job cutting through the field and worked through a 10+ lap deficit to get within 1 lap of the next kart 💪
#65 after a few issues we at least finished with a kart capable or racing the next round :) great work and Rowan

Race week! Running both the #66 and #65 this weekend.
Tyler Cook and Craig Bridge in the #66 kart.
Graeme Ireland, Rowan Ireland and Lawrence Busuttil will be in kart #65.

It will be a wicked event, racing into the night and under lights, changing conditions will certainly test drivers and karts!

The team

Cook Ireland Racing is very much a family team.

Graeme Ireland raced Go-Karts at the age of 13-14 and then got into drifting in 2012. After 7 years out of motorsport he re-entered karting racing alongside his step-brothers @ Indy 800 racing series. Coming down to the last race of the year, he ended up 3rd whilst fighting for a 2nd place championship position. In 2020 he has entered the APRA NSW Racing series in his #55 N14 SSS Nissan Pulsar.

Zac Cook had his first year in karts in 2019 @ Indy 800, entering the Senior Clubman Light class. In his first year he won his class and also club champion (most points accrued in a single class).

Tyler Cook also had his first year in karts in 2019 @ Indy 800, however this was only a partial year due to other sporting commitments.
