It’s with great sadness I inform every one of the passing of longtime mate of Queensland Softball umpires, Mark ‘Macca’ McFarlane.

Not only an excellent umpire on the diamond, but great friend and mate and was always willing to share his stories and tips of umpiring with anyone wanting to listen. Mark attended many State Championships and Tournaments held here in Queensland.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to Mark’s family and friends at this sad time.

Due to the cancellation of tonight's A-League game as the Downey Park grounds are still unplayable, the Redshirts Meet and Greet will move to 11am Saturday outside the Umpires room under the grandstand.
