After 12 long years, the Hawkesbury Shield is coming back to Windsor! 🎉

The last time Windsor lifted the Shield was 2014 — and what a feeling it is to finally have it back in our hands! 🏆

A huge congratulations to everyone involved. This result is a fantastic reflection of the commitment, effort and team spirit within our club. Windsor Bowling Club is in great stead, and the future is looking very bright!

🥶🎯 MIXED FOURS FINAL! 🎯🥶

It might have been cold, wet and miserable off the green, but things were certainly heating up on the green! 🔥 Plenty of great bowls, some quality competition and a fantastic Mixed Fours Final at Windsor Bowling Club.

A huge congratulations to Bob Towers on being crowned the Nepean Highlanders Rookie Singles Champion! 👏🏆 What a fantastic achievement and a reward for all your hard work, dedication and commitment to the game. We’re incredibly proud to see a Windsor bowler take home the title!

👏 Well done also to Phil Hollis and Darren Nagle on reaching the Quarter Finals. A great effort from both of you, showing plenty of skill and determination throughout the weekend.

A special mention also goes to Brad Worland, Darrin Stiff and Wayne Hancock, who represented Windsor with pride and gave it their all. While the results didn’t quite fall your way this time, your efforts and sportsmanship were a credit to our club.

We’re proud of every player who pulled on the Windsor colours and represented our club so well.

What a great day had by all today for the Windsor Funeral Home Triples. Weather was perfect. Lunch was delicious. Raffle and 100's board was great. Special thanks to Bligh Park Hotel and our members for their donations. Thank you to Bree from WFH for presenting the prize money. Thank you to Chris and helpers for the score board and thank you to Sue Gallo and all her helpers in the kitchen.

Today, Chris is representing Windsor Bowling Club in the TAB NSW State Championship Senior Women’s Singles at Dubbo, and we couldn’t be prouder.

After recently being recognised as the Nepean Highlands Region Senior Women’s Bowler of the Year, this is another well-deserved opportunity to showcase the skill, determination and sportsmanship that Chris brings to the greens every time she plays.
