Round Six: Hawkesbury Valley v Blacktown - Saturday 23rd May 2026. Two games that could have gone either way, but Blacktown were too strong in 2nd Grade 27 - 12 after a slow start by the Hawkesbury boys. 1st Grade was a much closer and wetter affair, with Blacktown scrapping home 8 - 5. Poor conditions for photos, but plenty of action.

Round Five: HVRUC v Harlequins - Saturday 16th May 2026. A tough day for the boys, with many having to double up owing to late exclusions and injuries. 2nd grade went down 60 - 12 and 1st grade lost 47 - 0. There were certainly patches of pleasing play and certainly effort, but fatigue did the boys in by the second half of 1st grade. Next week it's off to Blacktown.

Round Four: Hawkesbury Valley went down in both grades to the strong Chifley Chiefs teams. 2nd Grade lost 55 - 5 and 1st...

Round Three - Hawkesbury Valley v Georges River drop Bears at McQuade Park. Valley notched up two hard fought victories. Particularly pleasing was the 2nd Grade result, as it was the boys first game of the season and G.R. had already two games under their belt. 1st Grade won in the last seconds 23 - 21 and 2nd Grade ran out convincing winners 46 - 22.

Round Two: Hawkesbury 1st grade 36 defeated Canterbury 10 - Saturday 18th April 2026. A solid result from the boys, with a much improved performance across the entire paddock. A worthwhile opportunity for a number of "youngens" to show their potential. No game for 2nd grade again this week. (1 of 3)

Round One: Saturday 11th April 2026. Hawkesbury Valley 1st Grade 12, went down to Sydney Harbour 43. A poor 1st half lacking cohesion, but much improved 2nd half. A big turn over of players this year, but a number of younger valley boys have stepped up. At home to Canterbury next week is a big plus, after a 2 and a half hour trip back to the Valley. No 2nd grade game again due to the draw.

Huge day today at McQuade, saw Hawkesbury Valley 19 defeat Redfield 10 in the 5th Division 1st Grade Grand Final, in front of approximately 300 - 400 enthusiastic supporters. The lead up 2nd game final saw Harlequins out last Canterbury 12 - 10. The Hawkesbury team scored almost straight from the kick off, and from then on it was a close battle. In the end the Valley boys were too strong, winning the 5th Div G.F, as well as taking out the 5th Div Club Championship, and the icing on the cake was Liam Tully being awarded best player from all of 5th Division. Congratulations to the team and all involved in a very successful season of rugby. Well done Kenny and Dean.
