Before the world wakes up, magic happens.
There's a window at dawn, just minutes wide, where the light doesn't illuminate so much as ignite. The mist still clings to the ground, the trees hold their breath, and if you're lucky enough to be there with your camera, you witness something that defies ordinary words.
This is Tigerlily.
Standing atop her horse as the first golden light of morning tears through the trees behind her, dress caught mid-flight like she's been conjured from the mist itself.
Tigerlily doesn't just command the moment. She owns it!
This shoot with the extraordinary team at Sydney Vaulting was one of those rare mornings where everything conspired to be extraordinary. The brief was to capture the team with a hint of glamour and mystery at dawn. What we got was something closer to a myth made real.
There is strength here that most people will never fully comprehend, the trust between horse and athlete, the years of dedication distilled into a single breathtaking second of stillness in motion. Tigerlily delivers it with the quiet confidence of someone way beyond her years.
