What an achievement! Our bowlers battled their way through to the Tourist Trophy final and came away as very worthy runners-up! 🥈👏 A fantastic performance and a brilliant result for the club. Huge congratulations to the team — you did us proud!

A valiant effort against Royal Wootton Bassett for our men in the Over 60s Triples at the Bowls Wiltshire County Finals in Devizes, today. Worthy runners-up! Well done for reaching the finals.

Our annual Lavender & Lace Ladies’ Bowls Day was another great success, bringing together ladies from across the county for a day of friendly competition, laughter and catching up with old friends. Although we had a few showers during the day, the weather certainly didn’t dampen everyone’s spirits, and the bowls continued with plenty of smiles on and off the green.

The day is always a wonderful opportunity to meet up with fellow bowlers from other clubs, renew friendships and make new ones. With a lovely atmosphere, some good bowls and plenty of conversation over lunch and a cuppa, everyone went home having thoroughly enjoyed another fantastic Lavender & Lace day.

A superb afternoon for our Wiltshire bowlers at the national finals in Leamington.
A 25-7 win for the ladies and an 18-10 win for the men. Congratulations and good luck in the next round!

Good luck to our Men’s Senior Fours (Jim Fitzpatrick , Steve Drewell, Paul Beazer and Jeremy Haselton) and to Colin Easton in the Men’s Singles, as they head to the County Finals at Amesbury Bowls Club this weekend. The Fours play at 10am on Saturday 1 August; Colin at 2pm on Sunday 2nd.
