Tonight was our final training session of the season and what fun we had! Parents vs kids, kick tennis, target kicking and a Sausage sizzle. A big thanks to NAB AFL Auskick, NAB and Harry from AFL Sydney Juniors for making it happen.

Our U11 mixed team won their 3rd game of the season over the weekend! A Massive effort as we were shorts a few of our players. Love getting a chance to sing that team song ♥️

Hand grip on the ball closer (A) or wider (B)? 🤔

We find that B (wider) has the best grip and control on the ball as it covers more surface around the side of the ball. The better grip and control they have, the more consistent their ball drop is. ✅

With A, we find players can tend to either bend their elbow UP or roll their hand OUT as it is harder to grip the ball when the hands are closer. ❌

Finally, we have still seen players kick very well and with consistency with A, but we find B the most optimal and will work for more players! 👍🏻
