🚤 Lifejackets save lives.
Did you know drowning is the leading cause of boating-related fatalities in Australia? On average, 49 people lose their lives each year while using boats and watercraft.
Many of these tragedies could be prevented by wearing a properly fitted lifejacket. Whether you're heading out in a tinnie, kayak, jet ski, sailing boat, or inflatable dinghy, a lifejacket is your most important piece of safety equipment.
Before you head out, remember:
✔️ Wear a lifejacket
✔️ Check weather conditions
✔️ Avoid alcohol
✔️ Always supervise children around water
