QLD Kart Championship at Ipswich

Showed great pace in the lead up to the event but threw it away in Qualifying coming P10 out of 30 with a mistake on my final lap that would have put me in p5

From their I had a rough couple heat races and started the final P11 and after coming off and dropping back I came P14 out of 30

AKC Round 4 at Emerald

My first Karting Australia AKC went really well and was not possible from the support of my dad and mum, my sponsors and Jess Golding Motorsport

After starting on Thursday in the lower group for practice as I was close to the bottom of the championship, i was able to be one of the leaders in that group and by qualifying I made it to the upper group.

Out of the 41 karts I was able to qualify in 16 and only one tenth of a top 10

This result meant I started out of P8 in the first 3 heats

Heat 1 - starting on the outside was a struggle and got passed by a couple of karts on the start, throughout the heat made some solid passes but ended p13

Heat 2 - similar scenario to heat 1 and ended P15

Heat 3 - Was a wet race and managed to keep my cool and after dropping down on the start managed a p10

Pre Final - was my worst race of the weekend, after finally having a good start I was used as a brake into a down hill corner putting me back to last where I finished one spot ahead of that being p20

Final - started out of P34 for a damp final under lights and after a chaotic start and a race were the wet tires turned to slicks I finished in P18

The weekend’s format was Qually, 2 heats and a final

Qualified p6
Heat 1 - P6-P6
Heat 2 - P6-P3
Final - P3-P4 with fastest lap🟣

Challenging weekend at Ipswich kart club. With mainly wet conditions on Friday with only dry conditions on Saturday

Best result throughout the day was a second but in the final I came home 11th as a result of a bad start then avoiding a crash and having to come from the back

Ipswich Kart Club Round 2

Started of strong with a p2 in qualifying but having the pace for p1 just not finding a great gap between karts

Heat 1 and 2 were all about consistency and not crashing coming home p3 in both

The final was eventful with a 5 kart battle for the lead the whole 14 laps with me coming home p3
